Why Skin Care Is So Important
Skin is the largest organ of the human body. Think of the skin as the couture dress that no one else has it. We can’t return it or exchange it. It is unique to us.
As we age the skin’s ability to regenerate the cell turnover, slows down. Which makes the skin look dull and dry. The collagen and elastin fibers are weakened causing the skin to lose elasticity and creating fine lines and wrinkles. The skin’s ability to retain moisture and oxygen lessens. Which affects the exchange of nutrients to repair and restore the skin. Creating dull, dry skin with fine lines, wrinkles, and pigmentation.
Our lifestyle choices, such as too much sun, sugar and not getting enough beauty sleep. Being unable to manage stress all have negative effects on our skin.
We recommend facial treatments every four weeks to help exfoliate and hydrate the skin for optimal results.
Why Facials Every Four Weeks
Cells in our body divide and turn over every four weeks when we are young which gives our skin a refreshed look.
As we mature in life this process slows down. Our skin looks dry and dull with uneven skin texture. Facials every four weeks help encourage cell turnover getting rid of dull and dry dead skin cells.
This process helps brighten, lighten, and tighten the skin.
Internal and External factors have a negative effect on our skin.
- Loss of elasticity
- Fines lines and wrinkles
- Brown/sun spots
- Melasma (hormonal brown patches)
- Uneven skin texture and tone
- Acne scars
- Sensitive skin (rosacea, dilated blood vessels, Ruddy/red)
How to Restore, Rejuvenate and hydrate your skin through treatments.
- Lasers Resurfacing
- Lasers for blood vessels
- Lasers for pigmentation
- Micro needling with Radio Frequency
- Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP Topical and injections)
- Aqua Peel facial
- Oxygen facials
- Chemical Peels
- Photo Facial- Intensive Pulsed Light(IPL)
- Skin care products (skincare am & pm routine is essential for best results)

At ENT & Facial Plastic Surgery We offer the latest and the best in cosmeceutical skin care products to help treat various skin concerns and conditions for all different skin type and ethnicity.
Cosmeceutical grade skincare products are formulated with higher active ingredients to help treat skin conditions at surface and deeper layers of the skin.
There are many factors that play a role in how the product penetrates into the skin.
First the active ingredients, all ingredients are not the same where and how they are grown and harvested determines the quality of the ingredients which is the foundation of any skincare line.
Second the molecular weight of the ingredient how big or small the size of the molecule is important. Smaller the size faster and deeper the active ingredient will penetrate into the skin.
Last but not least the delivery system which is the vehicle for how and where an active ingredient will penetrate. Many times one product will have different actives for varying skin conditions and concerns some ingredients work best at superficial levels to protect and hydrate the skin’s surface and others are delivered at deeper layers to target skin concerns and conditions to achieve the best results.
Skin consultation will help determine the best products for your needs and concerns.
